Profile Information This wee senior girl is super deserving of a loving and comfortable retirement.  She has been through a lot in her life and just wants to relax, love and be loved.  She is a great combination of independence and lap dog.  Her favorite things are food, blankets and short walks.  She doesn’t seem to know what toys are for but will play the spin game with her people on the bed.  She doesn’t play with the other dogs but will play with you. She insists on sleeping under the covers with you at night, like most Chihuahuas, and loves to have a blanket if sleeping in her dog bed during the day (really, she would prefer your lap during the day but it makes it tough to get anything done). She loves her people and her favorite person is whomever’s lap is available.  Chavita gets quite restless if she needs to go outside to potty and will try and walk you to the door.  She doesn’t bark to go outside but she definitely has a schedule and will let you know.  She is a fair weather dog and needs to be carried out to do her business if the weather is wet or cold.  She will take one look and turn around and go the other way.  She has never defecated in the house but will pee inside if necessary.  She is not pee pad trained, so taking her out is your best option for success.Chavita is delightful and very easy to care for. She is not yappy and would do well in an attached housing. She is a sweet girl looking for a perfect match.
