Gem was found in rural Alberta, suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection, and was in very poor condition. Its likely she was dumped, but luckily rescuers found her just in time. She has been medically recovering for weeks but is finally ready for adoption. Gem’s foster is not in the Calgary area, they are located about an hour from Calgary, near Bowden, or about 30 minutes from Red Deer. Gem is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated.
