Profile Information/tell us more about this pet Greg is absolutely a wonderful dog.  Very easy to have around.  Low maintenance. Just wants to be loved.  Greg took me very fast.  He still has a lot to give to his new adoptive parents. Greg’s adoption fee is by donation.

Recent dental and check upGreg is a seasoned gentleman with some health concerns that could become an issue for him. At this time, we believe, and our vets agree, that he is happy and deserving of a loving family and a soft landing for his forever home. We are looking for a special family to adopt him and spoil him rotten for the time he has left. How long will that be? We aren’t sure, but he’s going to spend every minute being the sweet, awesome guy he is.

Only dogs while in my care.  I’m sure Greg would be great with any animal.  He just goes with the flow.

Seems very carefree and unconcerned about holding onto food or toys when other dogs are around.
Greg has shown no aggression towards dog of the house.  When house dog is finished eating, Greg will hog to his food dish to see if anything is left.  If there is, he will eat some.  Will eat next to each other with no aggression.

Very patiently waits to see if he will get anything, then just goes and lies down when realizing he’s not getting anything.
How does this animal behave around cats? I think he would be ok around cats.
Feeding Requirements? Picky eater
On soft food at the moment after surgery.
Leash/Collar training? Already wearing a collar and used to it
Seems very well leash trained, walks nicely on leash.
Very polite.
Being left alone? Does OK loose
He has been left alone with house dog & both are good.  No crate needed.
House training? Can hold it overnight
I leave my back door open all day, so dogs can go out whenever they want to.
Fences? Not applicable
Car rides? Loves the car, rides great. Sits in back seat
As Greg is 14, I always lift him into & out of my SUV.
Nail trimming? We haven’t tried to trim nails yet
Any additional comments regarding temperament that haven’t been covered by the questions above? As long as I let him know that he’s safe, he will let me do whatever I want to.  Just be slow & gentle with him.  He doesn’t seem to like his backend touched to much.  Will walk away if he doesn’t want me to touch anywhere.
