Don’t let the name fool you—Jalapeño is more sweet than spicy! This adorable tuxedo kitten may seem a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, her loving personality begins to shine.

Jalapeño is gaining confidence every day. While she’s still deciding if she’s quite ready to ask for pets, she absolutely adores shoulder scratches when approached gently. Her biggest loves are wand toys, tasty treats, and spending time with her siblings and other friendly cats, who help her feel safe and bring out her playful side.

Because she is still building her confidence, Jalapeño is looking for a calm, patient home that will let her settle in at her own pace. She would do best in a quieter home without young children or lots of commotion. She has been introduced to dogs and would likely do well with a respectful canine companion following slow, thoughtful introductions.

Jalapeño would love to be adopted into a home with another friendly cat or alongside one of her siblings. Having a feline companion helps her continue to blossom and gives her the confidence to explore and play.
