Jazz is approximately one year old. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Adoption fee $495
Jazz is a high-spirited girl who is looking for an active home where she can be her best self. She adores
her people. In fact, sometimes she is so excited to see you that she can hardly control herself!
Jazz’s two favorite things are food and play. Are you a runner? Jazz might be your girl as she likes to
just go! She is not a dog for a slow leisurely, smell the flowers kind of walk.
Jazz requires a fenced back yard where she can run off her zoomies and chew sticks and most exciting
of all – Play Tug which is her favorite game in the whole world! This helps her burn off energy and
makes her very happy, especially when you engage with her.
Besides physical exercise, Jade needs just as much or more mental stimulation. She gets most of her
meals in food puzzles, balls, etc. She loves to chew so bully sticks and other chew things are a must!
She needs positive training with clear and consistent boundaries as she learns that being patient and
polite results in good things happening.
Did I mention that she loves to be with her people? Jazz thinks she is a lap dog. After a good walk and
play, she enjoys nice long naps in the afternoon. She especially likes to lay with her head or half or body
on your lap. At night she sleeps quietly in her crate until she hears someone up.
Important things you should know before considering applying for Jazz
Absolutely NO CATS.
She may be best as an only dog or could live with another confident dog with a similar energy level.
A home with prior dog experience is required.
Positive training methods only while setting clear consistent boundaries and structure. one that can
provide an appropriate outlet for her energy. She struggles with getting over-excited but we have seen
great improvement in the weeks she has been in her foster home.
Prefer someone home for part of the day. i.e., it would be difficult for her to be left for a full 8 hours at
this stage. It is something you could build up to as she matures.
The most important thing is someone willing to invest in her. She is a smart girl who will be an amazing dog once she matures a little more.
Due to Jazz’s boisterous nature, we feel she would be most suited for a home without children and needs to be appropriately matched to another dog of similar energy and compatibility.
