Cat

Lily

Adoptable

Hi everyone, my name is Lily!

I am a beautiful, healthy kitten. Rescue Friends took me and my kitten (Solo is his name) out of a tough situation. A team of people worked together to transport us from Central Alberta so that tells you how important it was.

My wonderful foster mom is such a quiet, kind, and patient person, and has helped me figure out indoor life at my own pace. I prefer to observe from a quiet place. My foster mom says that I love my delicious food and am the slowest eater on the planet! Her gentle petting and soothing voice makes me happy.

Honestly, I’m still trying to wrap my head around being picked up – four on the floor for now thanks! I play with my kitten (Solo), but I have not embraced the resident dog who I suspect calls me “hissy pants” and tends to avoid me. Who knows, maybe someday other animals will be okay, but for now, I’d rather be the only furry in your family.

Kids, you ask? Well…I’m shy and quick movements throw me off – so I’m going to say calm, patient, gentle, animal-savvy older kids could be okay. If your kids are looking for “Barbie Kitty” to pick up and cuddle, I’m not your gal.

So the bottom line? I will continue to slowly blossom into a lovely young lady if I can be the apple of your eye, the princess of your castle, the moon to your sun, and the yin to your yang…in other words, the centre of your universe lol. Thank you for taking the time to read about me.

Any additional comments regarding temperament that haven’t been covered by the questions above? She is a work in progress. At this time she should go a cat only home. She is overwhelmed with the pets here. She growls and hisses at them. With some time and love we think Lily will come around but is best suited for a quiet home where she can be the master of her domain.
