Cat

Lily

Adopted
Hi! My name is Miss Lily and I’ve come a long way!
Rescue Friends moved me and my kitten (Solo) out of a tough situation.  I was in “momma mode” and really scared when I first arrived to my foster home.  I barely stuck my head out and would only interact with my kitten. The dog called me “hissy pants” behind my back and I wouldn’t even look at the resident cat. But, my foster mom slowly showed me life is okay indoors.
I’m now a healthy, gorgeous Tortie somewhere between 6m – 1 year old.  My foster mom describes me as “pretty and petite” – she figures I am fully grown.
I have recently moved on from my momma duties (Solo is now hanging out at Mainstreet Unique Innisfail!), and I feel much more relaxed! I am getting used to the other animals in my foster home – I pretty well ignore the silly dog, and I’m even kind of hanging out with the resident cat!
Although cuddling is still not my cup of tea, I adore being petted and showered with affection. I’m still a bit shy and quick movements throw me off – so I’m going to say calm, patient, gentle, animal savvy older kids could be okay. But seriously, if your kids are looking for “Barbie Kitty” to pick up and cuddle, I’m still not your gal.
My foster mom says that I am a tiny ball of energy who loves being in the rooms where there is action, like the bathroom or near the computer lol.
So the bottom line? I am blossoming into a lovely young lady! All I want is to be the apple of your eye, the princess of your castle, the moon to your sun, and the yin to your yang…in other words, the centre of your universe lol.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
