Meet Poblano, an incredibly handsome tuxedo kitten with a playful spirit and a heart that’s growing a little bigger every day. While he may be shy when meeting new people, he’s steadily unlocking the skill of confidence and discovering just how wonderful affection can be.

Poblano is looking for someone who understands that trust takes time. He’s not one to rush into a new relationship, but with patience, gentle encouragement, and plenty of wand toy play sessions, you’ll quickly earn your place in his heart. Treats are another favourite—he’ll happily take them from your hand, although he’s still learning that fingers aren’t snacks! As a young kitten, he’s continuing to work on gentle mouth manners.

This energetic little guy loves to play and gains confidence from having another friendly cat around. In fact, meeting an older, confident cat made an immediate difference in helping him come out of his shell. He would thrive in a home with a calm feline companion or, even better, be adopted with one of his siblings.

Poblano would do best in a quiet, patient home without young children while he continues building his confidence. He has been introduced to dogs and would likely do well with a respectful canine companion following slow introductions.

He is neutered, has no special dietary requirements, and is making great progress with his litter training. Because he can become overwhelmed in large spaces, he’ll do best starting in a smaller room where he can settle in before gradually exploring the rest of the home. He is still learning to tolerate nail trims and will need a family willing to continue gentle, positive handling.
