Riker was rescued as a young kitten and has always been a laid-back, easygoing soul. He may take a little time to warm up in a new space, but once he trusts you, he becomes the ultimate chill companion. He’s not a high-energy cat—he’d much rather relax beside you, enjoy the quiet, and soak up the comfort of a peaceful home.

He’s lived comfortably with other cats, kids, and even a dog. He enjoys company, but he also appreciates having cozy spaces to retreat to if things get busy or loud. His favorite activities include:

• Sitting by the window watching the world

• Napping in a sunny spot

• Being nearby on the couch

• Nuzzling your feet under the table

• Chasing a laser toy when he feels playful

• Soaking in love with strong, confident pets and belly rubs
  (No light pats for this guy—he likes the real deal!)

He does have a sister, Jazdia, also in our care, but they are not bonded and can be adopted separately.
