Sadie is a sweet and independent girl who came to Rescue Friends with her companion Willow after their owner sadly passed away. Together, they overcame their initial challenges and are now thriving in their foster home. Sadie is a curious and gentle soul who loves cozy spots and interactive play.

Willow and Sadie were inseparable when they first came to Rescue Friends, but since transferring to her current foster home, Willow and Sadie have become much more independent and find separate snoozing stations throughout the day. Given that these beautiful girls have been in our care since April 2024 and seem to be less dependent on one another, we feel they are candidates to also be adopted separately.

• Breed: Short-Haired Dilute Calico with beautiful blue eyes
• Age: Approximately 3-4 years old
• Health: Spayed, vaccinated, and healthy. Sadie had urinary crystals when she arrived but has since recovered completely. She is now on a preventative urinary diet to ensure her continued health.
• Energy Level: Calm and mild-mannered with playful spurts throughout the day.
• Personality: Observant, sweet, and social. Sadie enjoys her independence but also loves affection and interactive play.

• Companion Animals: Sadie is fine with other cats and has lived peacefully with a calm, cat-friendly dog in her foster home. She’s respectful and enjoys observing other animals before engaging.
• People: Sadie would thrive in a calm and loving home with patient and kind people. She’s fine with children who are gentle and understand cat behavior.
• Environment: Sadie is low-maintenance and content in a quiet environment where she can explore, relax, and interact on her terms.

What Sadie Loves

• Dogs: Comfortable around calm, cat-friendly dogs. She currently lives with an older dog without any issues.

• People: Observes new people initially but warms up with patience and kindness.

Additional Details

• Diet: Sadie is on a urinary preventative diet as a precaution. Willow shares the same diet, making feeding time simple and stress-free.
  • Wet: 50% urinary food and 50% other food of your choice.
  • Dry: Urinary kibble available for free feeding.
• Training: Fully litter-trained and accustomed to wearing a collar.
• Car Rides: Needs to be crated for safe travel.
• Nail Trimming: Wiggly but allows nail trimming with treats and patience.
