Dog

Sampson

Adopted

This boy is so sweet! Sadly, his owner was unable to continue to care for him but wanted to ensure he was placed in a loving home and Sampson was surrendered into our care with Jo. We thank his owner for entrusting us with this sweet old man, who we’ve all since fallen in love with. Sampson is a very nice boy. On the quieter side for a husky. He’s good with other dogs and loves the park, but his recall is 50-50 as you would expect from a husky so a fenced yard and lots of walks is a must. He will be turning 9 at the end of May. He is starting to show a little wear and tear and has some minor old man aches, pains, and stiffness. He still requires moderate exercise, he is a husky after all but too much and you will notice a minor limp. We have started him on a better diet (he needs to lose a couple of pounds) and joint supplements. He also has started cartrophen injections to maintain his joint health and help his mobility which his new family needs to continue. Sampson’s adoption fee is $350
