From her foster: Snowflake is a beautiful friendly small dog! She weighs just under 14 pounds and is 12 inches high! She has the most beautiful silky coat and was a very good girl in the bath! She does shed but this could be reduced by daily brushings.

Snowflake walks very well on a leash although got a little spooked by a stroller passing by (she’s probably never seen one!). She loves her food and treats and is food motivated to learn new things. She is a quiet dog and loves to be in the same room with you (loves the kitchen!) or especially on your lap getting pets! She is very affectionate and really wants a lot of love.

Snowflake thankfully sleeps quiet all night in her dog bed with all her toys.

She loves to go walking on her leash in the sunshine or likes to look outside through the window at the world! She is not a playful dog but rather more content just being in the house with you. I could not see her being left alone all day or in a crate. She craves a persons love too much to be left alone all day. She has been introduced to 3 strangers in my home and it went well. Not tested on cats or toddlers. Perhaps children over 7 or 8 would be best, as they would understand that Snowflake just wants love –  not playing like a puppy.

She is not destructive at all- she can be trusted not to chew or wreck anything inappropriate. She sleeps around important documents I have at home on the floor and doesn’t touch them! She is a gem.

Snowflake would make someone’s life a lot happier, especially if they were looking for a very loyal and affectionate dog. I think she looks like a purebred Japanese Spitz, the larger version of the cousin Pomeranian – but overall she is just a love bug!
