Sprocket is a puppy mill survivor. He spent his entire life living in a cage in filthy conditions. There was a fire and the buildings burned down, Sprocket was lucky enough to escape. He spent the next couple weeks running from predators on the prairies and avoiding rescue while fending for himself until he was humanely trapped and brought into care. He has had a traumatic past so he is very shy and avoids new people but does enjoy cuddles once he settles in.  He needs a patient home that can work on socializing and needs help building confidence but he is slowly learning to trust. His adoptive family will need help to coach him through these issues while loving him anyway. His current foster family has other dogs that he is great with. Recommended for children 14+
