Eddie

Adopted

From the foster:

Eddie the happiest of dogs. Not skittish whatsoever will greet everyone with a tail wag. A great eater – definitely not a grazer, will eat what is put in front of him until it is gone (so far).

Has started to find his voice after being with us for a few days-has barked at a few neighbour dogs when they go by.
Loves being outside and will explore the yard and stay outside as long as allowed. I can see him loving having parents spending time gardening & yard work. Pretty good on the leash & gets excited when getting hooked up to the leash. Is excellent in the car too!
Working on potty training…he will occasionally whine at the door to go out. There’s been a few legs lifted on things but have been taking him out regularly. I’ve put away my area rugs for his stay with us & as a result, he needs help getting up on the couch as the hardwood is slippery for him. Goes up & down the stairs without any trouble.
He co-exists with my dog quite well. Hasn’t initiated any type of play yet, but will share the couch, chair without any issues. No intro to cats yet, so cannot say.
Obsessed with stuffies/balls with a squeaker and will play fetch as long as you throw the toy for him. Can be a bit rough with his mouth when playing, so keep that in mind if there are children. He doesn’t jump up at this point.
He was groomed and was so, so good for it.
I work from home for the most part and have not left him home yet – can update any potential adopters, but I don’t sense any separation issues so far.
He will be an amazing new addition to any family.
Eddie is about 2 years old and looks like a Bichon Frise.Eddie is a dog from our partnership with Saving Harbin Dogs, please view that page for more information about adoption and fees. He is located in Calgary
