Puppy
Fred
Adopted
Profile Information/tell us more about this pet | Fred is just the handsomest, sweetest, most endearing boy you could ever hope to have! He is super smart, eager to please and learns very quickly.
He didn’t have much attention growing up, so he’s a bit shy with new people & new situations at first. But once he gets to know you, he can’t get enough of you & would follow you to the ends of the earth. In fact, he loves his people so much that he wants to be with them all the time! He is learning how to cope with being left alone for short periods, but it’s a work in progress. He will need to have someone who is home most of the time & is willing to continue teaching him how to be on his own. Fred absolutely adores other dogs and lives to play with them. He is still a puppy so can be a bit too much in their faces, but does back off if they show their dislike for his antics. He also lives with cats & a rabbit and is somewhat respectful of them – unless they run, in which case he thinks it’s fair game to playfully chase them. This absolute sweetheart of a dog would do well in a lot of different scenarios. He’d make a great farm dog who could help you do chores all day long. He’d be an excellent adventure companion to go hiking & camping with. He could be a suburban house dog as long as you are able to provide him with lots of exercise and activity (he’d likely be amazing at something like agility or flyball).
