||Lets you take it.
Gee gives you space when preparing his food, and will sit and wait at a distance until you put it down. He has no problem letting you take toys away, we are working on dropping on command
|How does this animal behave around cats?
||Respectful with cats
Gee is very curious of the cat, wants to smell he and play when she gets mad at him
||No special requirements
Because we believe Gee was a stray before coming into foster care, he eats food really fast, but we have put an upside down bowl inside his bowl to slow him down, over the weeks has has gotten way better and will leave his dish temporarily while there is still food in the dish
||Already wearing a collar and used to it
Pulls a little on leash
Working on developing better skills on leash
Really wants to go out walking and will walk for as long as you want but becomes fearful to strange noises, calms down quickly if you stop to console him and can easily resume the walk
|Being left alone?
||Needs to be crated
Used to being left alone all day
is crated at night and while we are at work. Goes into his crate VERY easily. we will just get up and say it is time for bed and he will go in on his own, or show a treat and walk towards the crate and he will happily go inside.
||Solidly housebroken, will bark or pace or scratch door to go outside
||Needs a fence at least 4 feet high
We have a 4′ chain link fence on the one side of the backyard, and there is no issue, he enjoys watching people and dogs walking by
||Needs help to get into car but likes to ride
Gee hasnt gone on many car rides, but each time he has had to be lifted into and out of the truck. He calms down quickly and lays down
||We haven’t tried to trim nails yet

||Hi! I’m Gee! I’m recently new to Canada because I was rescued from a high kill shelter in California. I have lots of energy because I am still a pup. I’m almost 1 years old!! I’m also quite clumsy. My manners are really coming along quite nicely. I have learned to sit, come, and I’ve almost mastered laying down on command. My next task will be to drop the ball at my foster parents feet when I’m asked. I really love food too, it motivates me. I’ve bonded very well with my foster parents, they tell me I’m such a good boy all the time. I also love when my Foster Auntie comes to visit. Toys are super fun! I can destroy most of them in no time so tough ones are a better challenge for me. I definitely need to be in an active home, I have lots of energy to run and play and go for walks. As much as I love being outside, loud or strange noises scare me, but I don’t bark when I’m scared. Inside the house is my safe space so I will try got go inside when I get scared. So if you’re looking for one handsome fella who has lots of love to give, look no further!! Adoption fee is $595
