Any additional comments regarding temperament that haven’t been covered by the questions above? | Jillian will be a beautiful pet for whoever adopts her. She is a terrier type so she is NOT hypoallergenic, sheds, and requires brushing. She wants to be near her people and sleep on the bed at night. She is in great health for a dog her age and physically very capable of going on easy walks and enjoys being out and sniffing. She walks nicely on a leash with minimal pulling. She barks very little. Jillian is in her golden years and looking for a quiet and relaxing home to really settle down. She would do okay with another quiet older dog or be happy on her own. She tolerates children but due to age, we feel an older home without children would be a better fit. She would be well suited to a retired couple or senior wanting an easy going companion. |
Profile Information | Jillian was pulled from a high kill shelter as she was on the euthanasia list for space. We felt that given her age and the expense of dental she had little chance at adoption with a timeline looming over her to we pulled her into our care. She just had a major dental and her teeth (that are left) are beautiful. She is a very lovely little companion with some good years left in her. Jillian would very much love to find a forever home to settle down in and spend the rest of her golden years with human companions spoiling her as she deserves. Jillian’s adoption fee is $350 |
