Dog

Jo

Adopted

This golden boy is the absolute sweetest! Sadly, his owner was unable to continue to care for him but wanted to ensure he was placed in a loving home and Jo was surrendered into our care with Sampson. We thank his owner for entrusting us with this sweet old man, who we’ve all since fallen in love with. Jo meets you with at least 2 toys in his mouth and a wagging bum. He’s the happiest guy. He just turned 9 and has some old man aches and pains. We have started him on cartrophen injections which his family will need to maintain as well as pain meds to help get him more comfortable. A good diet (and a little less) and joint supplements round out his care plan to keep him happy well into his golden years. He still has a lot of bounce and play left in him but needs to spend the night on a good bed (preferably yours!). A bungalow would be the ideal set up for him as he does struggle with stairs, which is expected to get worse over time. A ramp to get into the car would be ideal. He still loves the dog park but needs moderate exercise and someone to tell him when is enough. He loves to fetch too but it’s hard on him so allowing him to carry his prize would be better for him than hard chasing. He is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids. We can’t say enough good things about him. Jo’s adoption fee is $350

Jo’s birthday was recent so we threw him a fancy birthday party to celebrate (and capture the perfect handsome profile pic)
