Melvin

Adoptable

Melvin

Approximate age 1 year +
Approximate Weight 8.9 kg at last vet visit
Energy Level? Enjoys playing with toys
High Energy-Requires long walks, dedicated to regular activityYARD REQUIRED to burn off his energy.

Requires a good daily walk and a backyard to play in. A tennis ball in the backyard will be
your best friend (and his)
Requires toys for inside stimulation. He likes small ropes and bones for chewing; a big
stuffy for carrying and tossing, smaller squeaky toys (fabric kinds)
I feel a rotation of toys would be beneficial (but not necessary) during his transition to his
adopter

Needs help in and out of vehicle because of his cute little legs
When stationary in a vehicle (ie: waiting to pick up son from a movie) he will whine; we
have him where he just watched people now but as they draw near, he will bark. We are
successfully curbing that. It is 100% trainable

Profile Information Melvin is friendly, affectionate, cute, and loves people. He knows commands like sit, shake a paw, and jump.
He is very energetic and smart, a quick learner and is highly trainable but need consistency and training especially for barking and jumping. He needs more direction and exposure to life, he’s just so excited to be out there experiencing what the world has to offer. He enjoys walks and behaves reasonably well on a leash, quiet during car rides. Melvin requires a house with a yard so he can easily burn off the zoomies. Will not do well with only on leash walks or apartment living.
Melvin greets everyone with a happy wiggle! He also loves to give lots of kisses! He will bring lots of love and fun to anyone who meet him. Adoption fee $495

Melvin will need to be enrolled in basic training and requires an adopter who has a yard.
