Spot

Adoptable
Profile Information/tell us more about this pet My name is Spot and I am the ULTIMATE CUDDLEBUG!  I am a  9-year-old young Pug/Shitzu Cross (PugZoo).

Three of us (me, Hughey and Angel) were  suddenly without a home because my family had to  move into assistive living.  A wonderful  woman who boards dogs in our town traveled with us from Saskatchewan so we could have a second chance!

In a few short weeks  I have been neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and had dental surgery!  I feel SOOOOO good. The vet thinks I  might eventually develop a bit of arthritis (normal for my breeds) but said  supplements will probably  do the trick.  Otherwise, I am healthy – my eyesight is good and I can tell you my hearing is great.

And guess  what?? I DO NOT SHED. I repeat, I DO NOT SHED!! Bonus!

My  foster mom says I am good on leash, housetrained (newly learned so will continue to need a little guidance),  and I know my basic commands.

I have so much fun on walks – my little wiggle makes my foster mom giggle! She says (and I quote) “Spot completely cracks me up – he is such a happy little goof!”

Hughey and I were together in the same foster home until a recent  staycation with another foster family. It turns out I’m fine without Hughey (no offence Hugh).  All I really want  out of life is someone who will snuggle with me and let me flip over and sink into their lap (I like to lie upside down kind of  like a baby – what can I say, it’s comfy).  I can hang out for hours and demand almost nothing…except snuggling. I like snuggling.

I can be jealous of other dogs (I want my people all to myself)  so Rescue Friends thinks I would prefer to be the only dog although I’m getting along okay with my foster mom’s Shitzu and the cats in my new foster home.

If  you are retired, work from home or would like to  take me on your daily adventures I would be PERFECT for you! I’m not used to be being alone but I have been practicing.  Just like Hughey, I’m even  small enough I could scooch into a carry-on bag and go for plane rides!

I am seriously one of the sweetest, squishiest,  happiest little dudes you will meet  this side of the Rockies! My mission in life is to be your shadow, your best bud, your co-pilot and your snuggle bug.  Interested? I can’t wait to meet you!

Adoption fee is $350.
