Honey is an approximately one year old spayed female. She has her first set of vaccines including rabies. Honey would do well in a home with other cats, and older kids. Unsure of dogs at this time. The adoption fee for Honey is $100.00.

Honey loves the young kid in the foster house and is still timid when being patted (she doesn’t like her head patted unless she’s on your lap) but is rapidly improving. No longer slinking around the house but I think in general she would do well with a patient family with the time to gentle her along. She’s not bothered by noise, it’s more sudden movements. She doesn’t love being held (like carried), but if you pick her up gently she likes to look out the window for a few minutes so we are building in that. When she purrs she is LOUD and she also will talk to you endlessly—this morning she was sitting on my in bed purring and when she wanted pats she chirped and then reached out and patted my chin. She is learning to actually act like a kitten and play—she has dragged all our dangly toys downstairs and will sit and yell at you to use them.
