Itchyban

Adoptable

Itchyban was born on March 12th. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. The adoption fee for Itchyban is $100.00

Itchyban was born in care. We noticed right she wasn’t quite right. Her back legs were a little more wonky than normal. We (jokingly) explained that kittens come out like noodles- rubbery, bendable, and super flexible. They need the flexibility to get through the birth canal and sometimes, one of them is a little more cramped up than others. They can be squished in there like bent noodles, hence the name Itchyban.
As it turns out, she was had “swimmers” and wasn’t able to walk normally in the upright position. With love and support from the foster home, she has grown out of it, and walks perfectly fine!
When it came time to spay her, the vet was surprised to see that her uterine horn was attached to her bladder, not something you would expect to see. The vet was able to detach it and spay as normal, but it is suspected that due to some minor abnormalities, she may be more prone to UTIs in the future.
Don’t worry. We knew Itcyhban was a little different than the others in her litter, but that just made her special. Itchyban is as normal as can be now. You would never know her life started a bit unusually. Now she is a feisty spitfire that cannot wait to have some new friends in her new home. She currently lives with other cats and a dog and would do well with children.
